I think it is not a remote set because I see no mic hole and the model # has no R in it. The model # is apparently missing an F after 212 as the field service guide lists it as a Farrell not a New Yorker as the seller stated. I am amazed at how many model #'s use the various chassis like the CTC-11. It would be real neat to see the photos of all the models.
It does not make sense that the owner of this set never moved it yet there is no base or legs. Why on the floor? It is a table model!
I like that base on Charlies set! It should not be left on the floor. I bet there are two little holes where the RCA Victor badge should be.
If I get rich quick I'll buy it! Maybe that man in Italy would like it. It reminds me of one of those two sets that a man from Romania posted that was a JVC. He had taken some subway across countries to get us a photo of two old roundies stacked in the lobby of some sort of counsolet/government building of some sort. I thought that was very thoughtful of him!
