[QUOTE=Telecolor 3007]I want to dedicate this thread to old tv sets (black & white and also colour) that are apearing in different movies.

OK, does anyone recall the name of a Technicolor film from the late 1940s - early 50s with a scene showing a large cabinet style 'COLOR' TV operating in a film studio office? It looks like a CBS Color set of the era, and the action on the screen plays prominently in the scene.

The set has a round tube with the top and bottom cut off. It is, of course, a simulation but it's a great scene foreshadowing the coming of color.

It's not "There's No Business Like Show Business" or "Singing in the Rain"
but I think it is a film about Hollywood musicals.

Thanks for any information you might have on this. I'd like to find it to make a demo disk for my Col-R-Tel.

Regards,
Cliff
