Thank you! You saved me from myself. I was starting to consider it. I hope you're able to get it.

Actually, what I think it is that I'd like to find some day is a CTC-9. I'm not sure. My OIC gave me his set in about 1972. It was pretty old at that time and he was tired of getting it repaired. Except for needing manual degaussing, it ran for along time after I fixed it. When I left the AF my dad sold it while I was in college.

About all I can remember of it now is that the tuner knob was on the side of the chassis and that the HV cage was on the right as you looked at it from the rear. That I'm sure of because I managed to receive a series of pinhole burns in my hand when I accidentally brushed against the cap of the HOT while repairing it once at my OIC's place.

Wow, didnt expect one of those to ever show up around here. Is that John Marinellos TV? He's the only TV guy in naperville as it sounds like the guy knows what he has.

I don't think I've ever seen a 15" version! I've had the 19" and factory retrofit 21" versions. NICE! I say it goes $3000+.

That wouldn't surprize me if it was being auctioned. Not so sure about what it'll go for on craigslist.
