Antique Radio Club meetin live online tonight, 2/13/08
Hi all,
The New Jersey Antique Radio Club will once again provide live video coverage of our meeting tonight. If you tried to "tune in" last month, we apologize for the technical problems with kept us "off the air." But we expect to be back on tonight at 7:30 Eastern Standard Time, perhaps a bit later. The meeting starts with new/old business reports and the Feature Presentation is scheduled to begin around 8:00 PM. Tonight's presentation is by Herb Hobler, who will discuss a multiplexing device he invented that he intended would be incorporated into AM radio, but instead was adopted by Wall Street as a stock prices communication device. Herb has had interesting career working with NBC television, CBS, Teleprompter, and radio station WHWH. This will be his second presentation to NJARC. We'll also be conducting a small auction consisting primarily of vintage test equiment. Unfortunately, online viewers won't be able to particiapte in the auction. The meeting will take place at the David Sarnoff Library in Princeton, New Jersey. Online attendance if free and you are welcome to join us at www.njarc.org. --Dave Sica |
