More Motorola TS-67 hell :(

Well, I'm slowy chipping away at the issues on this set. Right now, I've got two biggies:

1) Horizontal has a wavyness on the left hand side (left of the drive line if you turn the drive up too much). Replacing the damper helped (a bit), for yuck value, I tried jumping the lin coil, that (mostly) fixed it, at the expense of width and lin. The coil's not original - this set wasted a yoke, flyback, width coil, an I'm betting this one's bad, too.

2) There's something up with the sync on this set. The horizontal breaks up on high contrast scenes. I'm thinking it's an AGC/overloading issue. There's no AGC adjustment on the set, though, and the AGC on it is freaking weird. If I put a fixed voltage supply on the AGC feed and play with it, I can get things to steady out (mostly). I'm not sure if I'm just overloaded (feed's a cable box, I might be), or there's something else going on here...

I'll see if I can post the schematic up sometime soon. This set is *weird*...

Anyone got any ideas, besides burning this set? And were Motorolas ALWAYS dogs?

While I'm at it, anyone got a Magnavox flyback (early, looks like a 630 one), 320026-1? Sub in the sam's is a Stnancor A-8117 or Chicago TFB-1. Thanks!
