Its unfortunate that the HV cage cover and back are missing.
The fabric projection cover appears rotten. Otherwise complete,
except for the knob.

Yup!, but two of the three 5U4's are missing and the one still in place is both fused and its safety interlock is not plugged in. The "cheater" cord plug on the sweep chassis is simply a dead short. If it is not connected it kills the power supply.

I never realized the bottom front of the earlier models came off for servicing.

The later 9PC41s can be real knuckle busters getting that front chassis out to work on.

What a beautiful set. Shame they plugged it in without a clue. My vt71 was plugged in at some point before I got it and it popped a 100 ohm resistor.
