23 in. Muntz tv score

Last night I scored a 23 inch metal cabinet table set a friend of mine was cleaning out a attic and brought the set to me. I am thinking it is a 50s set pix will follow soon.. not sure on the condition of caps .. this makes my 3rd muntz set as soon as we get stuff situated we will post my collection on face book..

The set probably has the "L" shaped chassis. Still a minimal design.
CRT's were a weak point. Made by National Video.

re muntz tv

The chasis is L-shaped mad man muntz had a way of desighning tvs hopefully pix will be up soon.. will keep you guys posted...

23 inch would be 1962 and newer. I think they used a separate safety glass.
I don't know if that model used that big knob cluster, that contained all the operating controls.

I have had a DTV converter overwhelm my little Sony S8-301....which otherwise does pick up stuff just fine from my little in-house transmitter (OTA).

If I were to look into it though....this may be handled by just looking at gain or AGC.
