Mike, so you have a 24G26 chassis?
I restored a Zenith Porthole with that chassis. If you order a Sams, all you get is a schematic for that chassis. The 24G26 is very similar to the 23G22, 23G25, and 24G24. You can get the Zenith Service manual at: http://www.earlytelevision.org/tv_sc...s_postwar.html The 16EP4 CRT is a hard to find picture tube -- be careful with it. A lot of us really like Zenith Porthole TVs - tell us about your TV. Carl

Well i just got it , the crt is good , not new but my tester puts it in the green / good and past experiance with crts and this tester says theres life in this one, fly seems to test good , theres another member that i got this for , as much as i'd like to keep it it will cause arguements if i did , so i decided to ask for info on it , thanks for letting me know about the sams because i will restore it for the member , i knew about the etf online sams and riders but didn't see this chassis listed , now i know more, i did notice the 23G25 only uses one hot not two or was i looking too quick ?
if you want a pic i can post it mike |
