KY Predicta Princess

I've got a red predicta everything is there UHF knob and antenna. The thing is filthy inside and out. I do not have much knowledge in old electronics. One question can I use a 7.5 ohm 5 watt nos fusistor? The old one was deteriorated. Also is there anyone in KY that may be able to give me some guidance or assistance in restoration? Thanks.

Better to just use a 5W resistor and fuse in series than pay for an NOS part that could be deteriated due to time.

that is the 1st of many on a recent one I did. I think I ended up with 10 parts, some are pretty short so does not take too long.

also look for banderson on youtube.

Just connect a resistor in series with a 1 amp fuse as shown in the lower right. If you have any dud tubes lying around, salvage the base pins. Then attach to the ends so it will mount like the real deal shown at the top.
