Little museum from SEMP - Brazil

( IN PORTUGUESE ) - SEMP was the first electronic industry in Brazil, established in 1942. It is also the only survivor of all the dozens of electronic factories we had in the 50's and in the 60's. For those who understand Portuguese, some of the informations he gives in this video are not really accurate, but it is worth seeing for the old devices ( radios, TVs and etc ) that are presented to the camera:

You can select CC, then auto-translate and select English to read the captions at the bottom of the screen. That transparent set at 3:21 in looked cool. Some of the radios looked Japanese.

At certain point of it's history, SEMP merged with Toshiba. Soon "SEMP TOSHIBA" labelled products appeared.
