Today's finds at the Amherst NFWA meet

Well, today was the annual Niagara Frontier Wireless Association swap meet, and as always, found some goodies

Found this 7" Philco set for $100, case is beautiful, but needs knobs.

COuldn't pass these up. These are some BIG picture tubes! Kinda reminds me of the ones we had in grade school. The guy that brought them told me it would break his heart if they went to the garbage as he was a retired TV tech, and these were the last sets he worked on, so I ended up with them. Free

Wow, you made out well!
Great deal on the Philco, mine cost an "Obcene amount of money" after buying it and having it shipped to me
Finding knobs for those is difficult/impossible!

Is the GE cracked?

Eric

Oh yeah, she loves it all right

But, I told her that the basement and the garage are my domain, so I can do whatever I want .

Yeah, unfortunately the GE does have a piece of the top vents missing.....but for $25, what the hey!
