and what is the first one talking about "the connector is provided for phone-view attachment"

raster but no pic is usually due to video detector troubles and or video amplifier troubles *EDIT*> --assuming you have sound. No sound is more likely in the tuner or IF
any set of that age needs a recap.

The "phone-view attachment" should be phone-vision. It was an early attempt at PPV television devised by Zenith. Movies would be piped to your home over your telephone line to a set top box that was connected to the set via this connector.
That first set the the same model as one I restored a few years ago: Porthole restoration
