Hi To All- New Here
Hi to all. I'm a new member here, but have browsed the site for a while. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person out there that enjoys old TV's and Stereo's. I recently acquired a 1969 Sylvania color set.

I have been having a ball watching all the classics on it. I have it displayed in my office along with my old 1964 Magnavox console stereo for people to see when they come in. Most people like it, but there are those who probably think "why do you want that old crap for".

I might be in the market for another vintage set in the near future. Next time I hope to go for the gold and find a 60's color roundie with remote control. It make take months or years, but I'm patient.

I unfortunately have had two repair shops say this exact line to me, and laugh me out of the store when I asked for tube chassis sets.

Welcome oldstuff! These tvs are addictive! But, VERY fun. The people here are so nice and helpful, I've learned a lot from them in the short time I've been here. I hope you find many treasures! And most of all.. have fun!
