Philco 49-1040 Owners Manual for Bob

I wanted to upload it tonight but my Site Host is doing maintenance on the server tonight so it'll have to wait till tomorrow.

Here's a preview of the cover, does anyone need this?

Server's back up so here's a link.

http://vintagetvsets.com/schem/Philc...s%20manual.pdf

There's a couple sets of staple holes at the top where it was probably stapled to the back of the set.

Just curious if anyone that has this set can check and see if there is a set of holes or staples on the back edge of the cabinet somewhere where this would have been attached.

I have a Westinghouse with a single staple in the top rear edge of the cabinet and I figured it was where the paperwork was stapled.

Thanks! This is awesome

I especially like page #5. Now I can see for sure than mine does have the after market fine-tuning control and there is a channel #1 on the dial.

My set is missing it's back, but I have grabbed a few pictures from the web. I don't see any obvious holes

Thanks Eric. I have one of these little jewels in queue. A nice addition to the restoration. I appreciate your effort.

Glad to help out.

I would have liked to scan it in it's original layout with full pages that could be stapled together like the original but they were a little too large to fit on the scanner.

Bob, I would expect the staple holes to be on the rear edge of the cabinet, possibly on the top rail. Not a big deal, I was just curious.

Right you are! I found a staple on the right side of the top rail.

Eric-

Thank you for posting the manual!

I have a 49-1040 but I cannot get to its back right now to look for staple holes. Mine does not have Channel 1 on its selector, unlike the one in the manual.
