With that shape of CRT I would expect it's about the earliest of its kind. I'd say definitely all tube but for the fact that RCA had snuck a transistor or two into sets even earlier than this one just for s&g.

You do realize the stereo speakers would be useful only for the built in phonograph. In 1958 RCA adopted the 45-45 stereo record recording method(ending a format debate that had been going for a few years by then). In 1961 stereo FM broadcast was standardized by the FCC. And there was not FCC approval of a stereo TV sound transmission system until 1985(!)...Which to someone born well after that time(read me) who is well acquainted with technology through the ages seems about two decades late.....
