Predicta Tandem gold panel replacement

Hi - on my Predicta Tandem, the shiny gold panel that the volume/contrast/on/off knob and channel selector knob are in front of, seems to have 'crinkled'. It looks like it's foil type layer on the front of the cabinet.

Any suggestions for a replacement for it? Something similar perhaps, even if not the same.

Are you referring to this piece ?

Maybe an arts & craft or hobby shop would have something suitable.

I would check with a trophy shop. They use all kinds of metallic materials and can also do engraving.

Gold panel

Hi - yes, that part - thanks for posting the picture.

Good suggestion - I'll see if I can find something.
