Samsung PN60E8000 power supply issues

First off, allow me to apologize for my extended absence. Some of you may remember me from years back, and on AK as well! I have received a free Samsung PN60E8000 60" smart plasma TV with the well-known power supply problem. I have searched all over online, but have not found anything relating to repairing the power board myself. The previous owner says he has replaced the X and Y sustain boards recently, and the set was fine until it started having power issues. It will power cycle repeatedly until finally coming up, only to shut off again after one second to a few minutes...rinse and repeat. In addition, there is now a vertical area of random pixelation on the far right of the panel, which he said was not there before the TV stopped working. (See attached image) Detailed inspection of the power supply board did not reveal any bulged capacitors or other obvious damage to any components, which is why I'm stumped.

I am aware there are new boards available for around $200 and send-away repair services for around $75, but I want to try and fix this one myself. The loss of my income due to world events has left me unable to afford board replacement.

I don't know anything about actually fixing flat panels except it usually costs more than the set is worth, both in time and frustration.
I would look on YouTube for this specific model, there may be a common problem that is easily fixed, or not.

You can often find good sets on Craigslist for a good price, from Free to $200.
