TV broadcast tube type equipment???

What is this stuff? A split screen monitor?

I think it's just two monitors in the same case. There is also a tuner in the lot there, probably one monitor was used to monitor the signal that was going out to the transmitter, and the other one was monitoring the signal over the air, tuned by the tuner and fed into the set. That way you could tell if there was anything going wrong with the transmitter. Just a guess.

The label at the top of the one on the right appears to read "NBC TV" so maybe that was for the network feed?
