Do I buy this or a CT-100? Only $2350!

Gotta love these people. "We think around 1943." We should start a prize category for these listings.

This one obviously! It works! How many CT-100s work? Much more bang for the buck!

Well, I guess auctions sites provide good entertainment at least.

Honestly, have they been out in the Arizona Sun too long?
It seems like more eBay TV auctions are stupid like this than not anymore.

Do these people see a 621 or a CT-100 sell for $2000+ and think that therefore ANY old TV will bring the same, do they not do ANY research?

"We think it should sell for a lot" I'm sure they do.

If I was feeling generous I might offer them $50 for their late 50's set if they'd deliver it.

It just makes you wonder about people and how much of a grip they have on reality. They're like a little wood chip floating in the ocean of time, with no idea where they come from or where they've been. Churchill? Oh yeah, wasn't he that president a long time ago? Back when the world was in black and white? Egads.

Getting more and more people who have not seen a Black and White TV in a long time. Also, with so many flat-panel TVs now, many long for the nostalgic look of old tube televisions. My take is that these TV's are appreciating in price - but not to this level, yet.

You should get it now before it gets bid up too high..... And besides you know its got a good crt, and will likely stay that way. And then look for another just like it, and hide it under a different tree, and then look for another and hide it in the grass near the squarish rock, then get another one and hide it near the poison ivy, then get another and put it next to the azeliah, and then go get another and put it in the flowerbed by the front door, and then get another and.................................

Isn't it a violation of eBay rules to show a TV set with a video image on its CRT? After all, the statement "It works" should be sufficient.
