Found a Sparton 21S214!
Wasn't even on the hunt, it found me as I drove through Rockton, IL with my Dad. Has a 21EP4B CRT, plenty of life left. Only issue was a shorted 'lytic in the power supply that fried the 5U4, and some cracked bumblebees in the sync seperator circuit. Replaced the can cap with an NOS one, and put a new rectifier in it. I didn't put more than 2 hours work into this thing, the rest of the tubes were good. I don't know what I'll do with it, I have no room left!

Cool! Cabinet looks like it's in good shape. Is it missing a knob?
How's the contrast? It's hard to tell from the photo. John |

Contrast is a bit lacking, but the control is dirty anyway. Every time I adjust it, it almost loses sync. I think next time I'm up this way, I'll spritz every pot with some Deoxit to see if it makes any improvement. The power switch is bad too. I think this thing spent some hard time in someone's basement, because most of it has got light corrosion, though nothing that doesn't seem to just wipe off. I think I'll be able to repair the power switch, probably just needs a good going through.
My brother suggested it needs horizontal blanking too, so off to the man cave I go to work out a circuit....
