Looking for some capacitors
I'm looking for the following capacitors:
.001uF and .0047uF, both rated at 10,000 volts. Does anyone know of a good online source for these at a decent price? Thanks |

Just Radios should be able to supply those.

.Allied Electronics carries the ASC brand in 10Kv - they have the .0047uf, but are out of stock on the .001 (1000pf) in 10Kv. X675 is the ASC type.

I hope they'll work for you, but I myself would never stick capacitors that look that old into a repair when modern ones of those values can likely be found. Do you have any idea how to read the date code? I'm guessing they are from the third week of 1988, already 27 years old.
Are those for a Pilot TV by chance? If so, there are a lot of threads on here and ARF that should reveal where they found their high-voltage caps. . |

I'm going to install them in my two Porta-Colors, without regrets. |
