Admiral TV/Radio/Phono Combo ID?

I'm picking up this Admiral combo in a few days.

Normally I don't pick up combo's but I like the blond cabinet and it has all the correct knobs.

Does anyone know the model number?

I don't know the model number, but you seldom see a set that age in that condition. The blond finish, makes it a bit more desirable.

I agree that although these Admiral combination sets are fairly common, being blonde and in exceptional original condition makes it a standout. Usually blonde sets look stained and dirty from rough storage. A really nice '40's console that'll play beautifully when electronically restored.
I couldn't easily find the model number. It seems these usually have the small upper half-doors rather than the full length ones, but Admiral made many variations of their sets at this time. Just do a Google image search till you spot it.

I think it's a 30F17 from 1949.

I think you guys are correct about the model number being 30F17.

But I think the Chinese version (4H18) is very cool.

As I said before I'm suppose to pick it up on Monday. Hopefully it is as good in person as it is in the photographs. I was told it comes with the original documentation, etc.

Will post more photos when I get it home.

If it's looks in person like the photos show, it appears to be a set that may have been kept in climate controlled part of the home all these years. In that case you have a real gem there that's definitely worth acquiring. Good luck!
PS - The black Chinese version is very cool, but I actually like that blonde version even better. A classic post-war look.

The only photo I haven't seen is of the top. Hopefully there won't be any problems.
