7jp4 crt
I'll put a post in the classified section but this is just to get to some that may have a 7jp4 crt for sale that don't look at the for sale section, something like maybe a B grade if possible since I'm sure I won't find one that's a grade A. Let me know if any out there.

My friend Vaughn in Deer Park, NY deals in vintage TV's/parts/repair and very likely has one of these around for you. I actually bought an excellent one from him last year for $125.
You can reach him at 631 667-5247. Evenings are best with him. |

I have 2 sets (one with an unproven CRT) and a spare CRT...If the unproven one works good in my working chassis I'd let my spare go.
Don't know what you mean by "A" and "B grade"....My spare is plenty bright though. I could bring it to the spring ETF.

I have a set tested strong one that I would trade you for that Fly-1. You can come and see it in a set, and save the shipping cost. PM me if interested.

Problem with these crts is that the only way to know for sure if it's really good is in a working chassis since almost all the time testers show that the 7jp4 is good even with bad phosphor and or gas. Do you have a working chassis ?

That is why I said "set tested". :-)
You can see it produce a bright raster for yourself. |

Oh I believe you if you say it's bright and produces a clear pic, I don't have to see it for myself.

And yes I am interested but thinking of what to do to get, time to pickup or ship if you would... Sorry about that I misunderstood, when you said set tested, me thinking of tester tested never really right, lol..

BTW, I have a couple of 7JP4's, that have one loose pin. They were removed too carelessly from the sockets. IIRC, both have the same loose pin.

The CRT has had 1 loose pin crazy glued. The pin is solid. As long as you are not rocking the connector to get it off, it should be fine. I had the CRT on and off the connector multiple times and the pin has stayed tight.
The base has had black silicone put around it to tighten it up. It is a decent 7JP4. I ran it for 3 hours in my garage yesterday and it looks good. If it was pristine, I would want more for it than a Ram X036 is worth. You are about an hour drive away. You can take a look at it in person if you would like. Shipping would be about $20-$25 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Ok looks good , what is the brand on it? If I was careful I have a perfect plug to replace the one one it but if it's good I just as well leave it alone.
