Cool Disney toy console TV

I would've loved this as a kid. |

Wow, quite a toy! Had to be expensive when new, and deserving of the bids it's getting in 2018.

Way cool, but if you plan on using it regularly it should be recapped.

That's more than my Predicta cost.

Oddly enough, I see a few of them for sale on eBay! I would think one surviving would've been surprising.

I don't think there is anything to recap. It looks like it uses a reproducer like a victrola, no amp. Just a motor and a lamp.

He was joking about the recapping. The unit is just a toy Victrola with a story-board roll that appears to be rotated manually. For a kid back then it was pretty cool.

Sorry it was late and I didn't see the smiles.

Yeah, I was just kidding, it looks to be purely mechanical, maybe an electric motor and a bulb, but acoustic amplification.
