How to clean white covering of VM record changer
I have an early 1960 Voice of Music record changer that I'm trying to recondition. One particular problem is the yellowing that has discolored the covering on the cabinet. I have attached a picture of the outside of the cabinet and also a portion of the inside which has remained white. I haven't been able to find a good process to fix this problem. I used some Tuff Stuff foam cleaner for car interiors, and it did take off some of the grime but didn't restore the white color. I experimented with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser but that didn't have any noticeable effect. I have seen some suggestions to use Meguiar's Covertible Top Cleaner but wasn't sure it would work any better.
I thought I would check on this for possible good solutions. Thanks. |

I wonder if retrobrite would work on vinyl based portable cabinet upholstery?
