CTC 5 tale of two tv's?

As you know I have a CTC 5A, I'm starting to restore. The interesting issue is I used co-pilot to source a couple of parts, and it responded by saying that the early model 5's were the Super models instead of the deluxe models were you guys aware of this info?

Yes, my CTC-5D is a Super. I think the later Deluxe used the CTC-5N chassis. It is different enough that Sams put out a separate Photofact.

My Chandler CTC-5 Deluxe uses the CTC-5U chassis.

Wish you well on the restoration and hope you will chronicle the process.

Let us know progress and if you need any parts. I have a CTC5D and CTC5N spare chassis, each for a Whitby(deluxe) and Aldrich (special) most parts requests are then found out Moyers, Sunbury PA has many NOS RCA parts, so I never parted them out.
