Exclamation How is TomComm and the 21CT55, and other AKers; SB Fire

Hello TomComm with the restored 21CT55... How is your situation up there in Santa Barbara County? I heard the Jesusita Fire grew to a 5-mile front Thursday night, and jumped Foothill Road, and also overtook Hwy 154 and is heading for Los Olivos, and is now burning all the way from just south of Goleta to Hot Springs Road in Montecito. 75 homes destroyed as of 7:00 AM Friday and 10,000 homes & businesses under threat and evacuated. It looks really ominous, and we got an early sunset yesterday with a blood-red sky, all the way down here in Moorpark.

You and anyone else we know, our thoughts are with you that your homes will be safe!!!

Charles

21CT55 not threatened

Charles.......Thanks for your concern regarding the latest Santa Barbara fire. We were never in danger since the closest the fire came was at least 20mi south-east of us. This occurred when it jumped Hwy 154 momentarily and was immediately extinguished with a water drop. We're about 3mi from Los Olivos and the Alamo Pintado horse clinic you visit occasionally.

BTW when are you coming bye to see my 21CT55 in action? Have you seen Steve's 21CT55 operating yet?..............Tom

Glad you're fine, and that it didn't get too close! I didn't realize you were in the Santa Ynez area... I was just there before the fire to pick up 3 horses from Paradise Road near the 154. Couldn't have stopped by that day, but I do get up there now & then and will look forward to meeting and seeing the set!
