ABC Color Intro

Does anyone know if there are any commercial DVD's out that contain the original ABC color intro's. The ones on youtube are of poor quality.

I got several 1960's Hollywood Palace shows from 1965-66 w/the ABC color intro in excellent qaulity as well as a 1965 Flintstones in color w/the ABC Color intro as well. I vene have the ABC color intro on some B&W copies of ABC color shows as well which includes The Lawrence Welk Show

Remembering back to the fall of 1965 when ABC first starting using the color intro for their color programs, I seem to remember their first generation version of the color intro was different from the two versions I have seen on YouTube. It had a same video but the music was different and was longer. Then later they changed to the newer music version and finally to the voice overlay that said this is an ABC color presentation.

Anyone recall this first generation color intro? If I remember correctly, it was used very briefly because it was longer than the two newer versions. I don't see it on YouTube or any other sites.

I also recall that ABC did not use any color intro from 1962, when they started colorcasting, until the fall of 1965.

This was probably to not alienate any affiliates that had not(!) yet made the transition to color or were in areas where the microwave network did not pass color feeds.

IIRC, ABC was the last of the big three to go color.
