They take up less real estate. I only have one admiral metal table top 21" color. The rest are console's.

I agree it's a 1962 model CTC-11. Looks clean. Why do they take such lousy photos?

I have this one with a mahogany woodgrain metal cabinet. Mine has legs; real easy to convert them back and forth between table or console depending on what space you have.
