First off.... Thanks Mr. McVoy for testing my Crt at the Museum!!
I still would like a door prize tv set!! Yeah I know ...keep dreaming..right??

Second... I would really like to say thank you for everyone that gives input on my threads. I am learning as I go along and it is great to have experts to talk to. In my town I know of noone to get assistance from besides the Owner of Fair Radio but he is always busy running his business

Phil Sellati would prolly like to KILL me... About 10 yrs ago, I "Stole" an R-390A that was in his personal stash... It is a 1955 production Collins set, w/all Collins modules...Rick Mish, the "Guru" of R-390A restorations, flipped over it, offered me $5K or 2 of his "Museum Grade" restored sets for it...All I know is that they procured it locally, Rick thought they might have got it from Wright-Pat, where it had perhaps been Somebody's Baby & lived a very easy life. I gave $700 for it, which was double the going rate for an unrestored R-390A back then. Anyway, tell Mr Sellati that "His" R-390A is being well & lovingly cared for...(grin)
