Yes or no? Probably a no...
My daughter sent me this photo today... she came across the set while out shopping for apartments. Hmmm... not going to find an apartment at an antique store!! Anyway, I assume this is an RCA... likely one of you guys will know for sure. It appears that the tube may be no good (but then that might be dirt inside the safety glass)... but i am leaning toward no good. Looks like it has an original table to go with it. Daughter tells me she didn't think the cabinet was very pretty. I should have asked if it was wood. She said they wanted 200 bucks for it. I'm pretty sure it's not worth that much, but then I decided to ask just in case there might be something special about this set.
I wish she would have taken a closer photo.... but then... I don't think it will be going anywhere for 200 bucks. It will likely be there when i get home in four weeks.

That there is a 1949 RCA T-120 or T-121, I can't tell if it has a jewel light from the photo. Twelve inch set, KCS 38 chassis, mine performs wonderfully. For what it's worth, I paid $75 for mine and it was in very nice shape, just dust on the chassis, and it came with it's original stand, just like this one.

Ah-hah! So it is a metal cabinet. I think 75 sounds reasonable. But then, I'll still have to get a CRT for it (at least it looks that way). I will check it out when I get home. I'm pretty sure they have plenty of room to lower the price and still make money. They likely gave 10 bucks for the damn thing.

That could just be dirt. If it is, then $75 dollars would be more than fair, considering how tricky it's becoming to even find a decent 12LP4...
