tech-notes.tv
The website is still on, although many images are missing, but tech notes are still there. I've been wanting to download them in case the site goes down. It has not been updated for a while, so I searched about the owner.
Has he died? Is this the guy? Looks like him. Obituary. Died in 2018. His wife died two months ago. Oh, well. His LinkedIn page shows only one job in the last 30 years: Code:
Director Santa Clara River Valley Railroad Historical Society Oct 1993 to Present · 30 yrs 10 mos The Santa Clara River Valley Railroad Historical Society was established in 1993 to assist in the preservation and restoration of the railroad corridor between Montalvo and Saugus CA. This railroad corridor, commonly referred to as the Southern Pacific’s Santa Paula Branch, is a unique and historic asset to the residents of the Santa Clara River Valley and the surrounding area. To maximize the economic, educational, and recreational value of this asset, the Organization’s goal is to acquire, preserve, exhibit, and operate historic railroad equipment, and to display and make available for study, railroad artifacts, photographs, and operational documents unique to the region.
