Another Zenith Roundie
This one's in Minnesota. A little rough looking, but if you're near it, might be a good set for parts or the tube.
Curious... where is the channel indicator? Is it supposed to be on the missing knob? http://cgi.ebay.com/Old-Zenith-Antiq...QQcmdZViewItem

On some of those Zeniths the channel is projected on a little screen in the middle of the tuning knob!

It also has power tuning! IT is not a remote control set though.

Neat set. I'd buy it, but it's too far away. I hope an AK'er gets it - it definitely looks restorable.

That definitely is a nice find, but I too am not close enough to grab it. $25 is definitely fair, even though it probably will get more dings & dents on it due to that Magnavox HiFi sitting ontop of the TV with no padding!

Don't forget---
This one has the 6bq5 (se) amp for the audio and CAN produce great sound!! But with the price of gas, work,(now 5 days a week ), etc--it is WAY too far away from me..... |
