Recent early color tv find in newspaper!

In the local newspaper I just bought this CTC5 "The Chandler" in beautiful mohagany finish saturday from the original "old lady" owner. The set was originaly bought in Manhattan New York and resided there till the lady moved here to southern calif. several years ago. I will check soon and see if the set works or what it does.

Is that door hitting the channel selector on Elvis' TV?

It sure looks too close for comfort.
Beautiful set!

Terry,

As Doug mentioned, it's the Chandler. Model # 21CD7935. Deluxe chassis CTC5U, 5W. Retailed in 1956 for $795.00. The original picture tube would be a 21AXP22A.
