Greetings!

Hi all,

My name is Jeff and I'm 44 and in Atlanta, and I've been in the tech industry for the last ~25 years as a data/tech analyst.

I taught myself back in high school how to do some simple fixes on my old Intellivision and managed to successfully swap the controllers from the original to the Intellivision II I had back then to use the good controllers from it and the good power since the power brick had been toasted during an electrical storm.

Anyways, these days I have been building a streaming/Youtube studio in my basement to make videos on my various passions including hobby built UAV, (the racing acrobatic type you see on ESPN), and retro gaming, amongst other things.

I've been helping a friend develop a new show that is horror/suspense focused and to support that effort I found what I've identified as a 1951 Motorola 17K7 that seemed to be fairly functional, although I'm finding that it appears to be in need of some of the routine repairs. The prior owner indicated she had last used it about 10 years ago with good success, but you know how those things are apt to go.

So that brings me here, I've been watching bandersentv and Shango066 amongst others to learn what I can about how work might go to that end.

Here's a quick page of some images I've taken of the TV I got:

Great to be here and look forward to learning a lot and helping where I can!

Best-

Jeff
