Admiral TV

A few months ago there was a Admiral TV on ebay that was for sale for $ 60.00. It was located in Syosett, NY. It appeared to be about a 1969 model. Did anybody here wind up with that one ?

When I first started looking for a vintage color set back in March, it was a set I was considering if I couldn't find one in a more traditional style. I even talked to the person selling it and they really wanted me to take it............

Then luck happened and Doug listed the 1969 French Provincial Color Sylvania. It was the style I wanted, but never thought I would find. I then had to find a shipper that was reasonable enough to get it here, since I live in TN. I also had to fight 20 something other bids for it.....I'll just say, I was like a mad dog....."THAT SET WAS GOING TO BE MINE" .....Anyway, I posted the link to the Admiral I'm talking about below.

Old Admiral TV's seem rare to me. I never see them around here, then again, I hardly ever see any vintage TV's that much around here pre-1970.
