Hello Everyone,
Thanks for allowing me to join the fun. I will confess that I really don't restore my vintage TVs to working condition. I will clean them up as best I can, find knobs (if necessary) and then privately display them. I've been looking for some knobs because, several of my sets came from a local man who purchased them when a repair shop closed down. I became interested in collecting vintage TVs when I worked at a television station over a decade ago. Although I don't do major restoration, I have learned alot about some of my TVs from reading threads on this site. For example, I had no idea there were so many different chassis for the Motorola VT-71. Also, I ask the memberships patience with me when communicating as I'm new to these types of forums and it may take a little time before I'm up to speed.
