Hard to find short in my sony 8-301W

Well, luck would have it that after I put it backtogether the set pops a fuse and develops a B+ to ground short. I'm almost sure it's a mechanical connection causing the short. I couldn't find it no matter what I did. My 630TS has a B+ to ground short as well.

What do you guys use to find B+ to ground shorts? I heard an ESR meter with an audible tone will help because the tone will change in pitch as it gets closer to the short. Will this work? It's super extremely frustrating because I can't find this short anywhere? I was ready to smash something when I was working on my 630TS too because it had a B+ to ground short that I still can't find.

Thanks.

Jonathan
