If the 19AP4 is still good, it would be worth the 80 bucks for that alone. I've worked on a few of those sets and they are fairly easy to restore. Of all the 19AP4 CRTs I've seen, the ones made by sylvania always seem to still be under vacuum whereas the RCA and zenith tubes aren't.

Perhaps the manufacturing process was slightly superior in the sylvanias....

I knew if I waited long enough someone would have something good to say about Sylvania!

Interesting design. Is that really a 1958 set (looks older)? Or is the card a service card rather an warranty card?

The warranty card might be for the CRT, the set itself is ~ 1950.

My favorite tube is RCA.

I have an NOS 19AP4, and 16GP4, both RCA. The 19AP4 has a 31-second life test, and the 16GP4 has a 32-second life test. Both tested on a Beltron.
I've tested hundreds of tubes in the past, and have never seen any others with such a long life test.

My least favorite tube is Rauland. NOS 16EP4, removed from original carton, gone to air.

I have a Sylvania 16GP4 with a 5 1/2" crack in the faceplate, still works fine. It is also the longest persistence P4 tube that I've seen.

If the warranty card is for a replacement CRT, it improves the odds that the CRT is still good....!
