i did a little on research on that stuff water is the way to brake that adheasive down ,thats what is causing the discoloration on the edge also .thanks for the input everyone i dont want to hurt a good strong roundie tube,i have waited to long to find one . i just love those round color picture tubes they have there own look !

these are the tv i got last month, but already had the 49 rca havent takin pictures of that one ,the chassie is on the bench and the tv cabnet has books and paper stacked on it

OOPS i wrote what i wanted to say about this post at the start of were i uploaded new pickures of it working now ,instead starting a new thread it dint work out good . lol
