I lost the 600sqft space I had in my brother's factory along with the space for my wood shop and metal shop, when he closed his factory in December of 2011. I haven't been able to pursue my TV hobby since then. So I am building a 1900sqft sup-subterranean workshop under my back yard with a 2 car, 2 story garage above. I will use the 2nd floor above my garage as a TV museum to display my restored sets, and there will be a 200 sqft storage area in the bunker. If you go to my web site (link is below) and look in the left hand menu for the title "Bob's Bunker" you will find a story, a slide show, and a time laps video of the construction up to last December, when we had to place construction on hold due to winter setting in. During the winter while construction outside has been on hold, I have been using the time to re-establish my wood working shop and my machine shop, below ground in the "Bunker". I am about 80% of the way to completion on those projects. I think those of us who are "space challenged", will find this an interesting concept.
