Yes, That is to high. You need to find a variable auto transformer.{ variac}
Running your set 0n 122v could raise the horz output tube cathode current, And melt down the fly back. I know it sounds stupid that a difference of 5 volts could damage the set but it can. To correct the tilt, Just turn the yoke when looking at a crosshatch. You will see what he means.
