Please whatever you do, leave the original Electrostatic tweeter alone and don't try to replace it with a regular paper cone tweeter because you'll risk causing a fire because they aren't designed to withstand the 300+volts of plate current coming off of the 50C5 tube in that radio which is what powers the electrostatic tweeter, if anyting just replace it with a modern electrostatic ribbon tweeter then you'll be fine, but please for the name of all things holy don't put a paper cone tweeter in there!
