Its in the amplifier circuit itself, I think its in the crossover network as there's about a dozen or so .47 µF 100V capacitors all in a line next to (parallel?) with about a dozen inductors and they all tie into the speaker hookups on the back of the receiver.

I do have a couple of .22 µF 100V capacitors that I could parallel to make .44 µF 100V and I thought of doing that but I wasn't sure if that would of been appropriate in such an application.
