Barco ~ cm-22 ~ 9" crt colour monitor manual / data required.

Greetings!

I wondered if any of you chaps on here had a manual & preferably service manual for thr Barco CM-22 monitor?

Also any info on the CEL Electronics P154 TBC & Effects generator from the early 80's?

Cheers,
Mark...

Hi to all,
Hi TRADEMARK-X,

Barco is still an active company today, you could try contacting them & ask if they have archives for legacy products like the CM-22 CRT color monitor.
This is their US contact form :

https://www.barco.com/en/contact

Note that the company HQ is in Kortrijk (Courtrai), Belgium (address & phone via web site in french language), so perhaps there is more archive content at the company's European HQ - French contact form :

https://www.barco.com/fr/contact

You could also post a request for the CM-22 service manual on the UK-VRR forum (appropriate section here) :

https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...play.php?f=148

Many Broadcast Engineers (active & retired) follow the British forum.

when i worked at Ampex, the Barco CM-22 was a frequent customer monitor choice in "sidecar" VTR consoles (VPR-6, VPR-80...).
It was less expensive & more compact than the Tektronix HR-650/651/653 series.
Barco HQ being in Belgium, obtaining repair parts was fast, an advantage to minimize downtime for Broadcast customers.

Best Regards

Hi Jhalphen,

Yes, I tried Barco.com (presume USA?), & got the following response:-

"Thank you for contacting us.
We regret to inform you that the product in question is very old so it has reached its end-of-life (EOL) and end-of-support (EOS) status. Consequently, we do not have a manual or any additional support available for this product.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

But I will try the other options, though don't hold out much hope really!

Cheers,
Mark....
