There were a number of knobs styles used on the -11. I just looked at the knob on mine & it is gold in the middle.

I have a CTC-11 too!
The channel selector knob on my set was missing the center piece as well... Must be a pretty common thing for this model. Here's how I fixed mine: I found an old knob from a junker 60's vintage stereo preamp. (Possibly a Heathkit or similar) I was able to pry the gold insert from the preamp knob and glue it onto the CTC-11 knob. Perfect match to the other knobs!

G.B., Here is a pic of my CTC-11. Mine also has the speakers located at the bottom. The picture was taken before the knob center was replaced. According to an original RCA catalog I have, my set is "The Wakeley" 212-G-83-M from the "Deluxe Series". This model has the separate safety glass in front of the CRT (no cataracts). RCA also made "The Winfield", which looks almost identical, but has the safety glass bonded directly to the CRT. It is from the "Mark Series".

My CTC-11 almost works... Has a decent B&W picture and good sound. No color. I haven't had time to start this project yet, but will be calling on the AK guys for some help when I get to it.

Mine does not have legs but goes down to the floor with some opening at the bottom. I will get some numbers so we can see what series. I have my safety glass to, but put clear plastic because the glass had a darker tent to it. Don't worry I will keep the glass to. Many sets did that again in the early 90's when they first come out with the 27 square picture tube. I was told the Gov. made R.C.A. & others put safety glass when the cost of the picture tube was so high to replace. Like sometimes it is cheaper to buy a new mower than to replace the motor because they buy many when they do & get a break. What is in front of your set records ? I have lots of Evis to , plus Living Stereo records.

GB,
Yes, that is a stack of lp's in front of my RCA. My hobby room is in a bit of a mess right now... I am an avid Elvis fan, and also like the classic RCA LSC and LSP Living Stereo vinyl. So, my avatar kind of puts both together nicely!

Let me know if you find that model number on your CTC-11 and I will see if it is listed in my catalog.
