Definitely one you don't see often. I feel the starting bid, although high, is not out-of-line due to it's rarity. I actually like other version, possibly earlier, that has the continuous tuner and curved (front) right side. It was also produced under the Columbia name.
One of the more interesting looking early TV's!

It sure looks like kit with all the machine screws and nuts.
It also looks like the LV rectifier and the damper tube is reversed, but looking at the under chassis view, it looks correct.

Here's the version I like better with the continuous tuner and the curved right side.
