Need SAMs for a Capehart 4H212MA

Someone called me about restoring a Capehart tv at work today, stopped by to pick it up and that's the model number in the back. I can't find any information on it, but it's a common looking 21" B&W set. CRT is a 21FP4 I think, it's got a 6DQ6 for a horizontal output tube, and audio is a 6V6.

I can probably get it working without a schematic, but since someone has messed with it in the past (there are tacked in caps and a few clipped leads) I'd like to be sure things are in their correct spot.

Hi, There are 2 folders on this set. SAMS folder(s) 187-3 & 203-4. I found the folders by dropping the letters at the end of the model numbers. Best bet in finding what you need is to use the chassis number. All the best,Tom

Thank you!

Anyone have the schematic scanned that I can look at? I don't need the whole folder, just need to verify a few circuits and component values.

Thank you brother, I owe you one! Two actually, pretty sure a CCII isn't enough compensation for the color Admiral run you made for me.

Well, you rented the SUV and it was a nice summer day so it wasn't that bad. I'm sure you'll stumble across something I want some day

The 187-3 Sams shows a different chassis than the one I have unfortunately, does anyone have access to the 203-4 one? I need the schematic for the chassis with only one 5U4 rectifier.

Don't know, I don't see anything that looks like a chassis number on it. Just a bunch of inspector stamps saying it passed. lol

I'd just like to get a look at folder 203-4, I'm thinking it's the one I have.

Look for say a CX-37 or CT121 or something like that stamped on the chassis, tube layout chart or stamped on the back of the set. Riders index shows CX-36, CT121, CX-37 and CT57 listed for that model number. All the best, Tom

No, nothing like that. It's marked 'capehart' in pencil on the front...

Hi,
If you need a better copy of Sam's 203-4, PM me your email and I could it send late Sunday night, after the WARC meeting.
