Rca ctc 9f gold vertical problems

Hi everyone, I bought this TV about a month ago from a friend and also after about 13 years of stop it turn on without problems and worked well for hours, then suddendly vertical syncs no longer worked, what can I try? Maybe capacitors problems? Please, help me. Thanks a lot! Bye

Can you roll the vertical both directions and get it to almost sync in the middle? Also is horizontal sync fairly strong? If the answer to everything is yes then R94-95 and or C58-59 are probably bad (AGC setting could be excessive too).
If horizontal sync is weak check those components plus the components around the noise in sync sep and sync amp tubes (AGC could be set too low or high as well).
If vertical can't roll both directions around a near sync condition then check components and power around and supply voltages feeding the vertical mult and output tubes.
Could be bad tubes, caps, resistors, insufficient B+/boost, adjustments or a combination there of.

Videokarma isn't capable of hosting videos so you'll have to sign up with a external video hosting site like Flicker or YouTube and link or embedded it here if you want to show us a video.
