Bob, what a fabulous DuMont. That set is one of the very rare DuMonts, and you have done a beautiful job restoring it.

Fantastic Job Bob! I remember seeing it in your garage the day we stopped by and picked up the 21" color crt on our trip out east. If you recall I was the other person trying to buy ithe Dumont from the seller, but you out-bid me. That tought me a very valuable lesson. When trying to buy a rare and valuable set, never try to save a buck. Offer top dollars and seal the deal fast.

You did a wonderful job Bob. But then everything you restore is OUTSTANDING!

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm a new member just poking around, and wow that sure is a cool looking tv.

It would seem, at least to me, that the designer had robots in mind. I mean it looks like a robot big time.
